Allegheny County Sheriff’s detectives apprehended 26-year-old Cecilia Littlejohn on Friday, a woman previously convicted of shooting a person with a pellet gun. According to WPXI, Littlejohn, a resident of North Braddock, had been at large since February for violating her probation in connection with the shooting incident.
Littlejohn was found hiding in a closet after detectives were forced to make their entry into a house on Edgewood Avenue, where they had received information about her whereabouts. She also faced a simple assault charge, with an active warrant out of Forest Hills, as reported by CBS News Pittsburgh.
She pleaded guilty previously to the charge of having shot someone in the chest with a pellet gun, which was the basis for her probation. Still active, the case in Forest Hills involved additional charges related to simple assault.
After having to force their way inside the residence, Littlejohn was discovered by the detectives hiding and was subsequently taken into custody without incident. As of now, she is being held at the Allegheny County Jail, awaiting the resolution of her case.
