An Ocean View man has been indicted on serious charges involving sexual assault of a minor, as confirmed by Prosecuting Attorney Kelden Waltjen, the Hawaii Island Prosecutor's Office recently indicted Larry Stephan Hultberg, 44, on charges linked to sexual assault incidents over a six-year span, the allegations suggest a pattern of abuse between October 2017 and October 2023, according to a report by KITV.
After presenting himself at the Kona Police Station on August 2, Hultberg now faces two counts of Sexual Assault in the First Degree and one count of Continuous Sexual Assault of a Minor Under the Age of Fourteen Years, these Class A felonies come with the prospect of up to 20 years behind bars per charge; Hultberg, in the meantime, remains custody with bail set at $500,000 as reported by Big Island Now.
