After the collision, which was first attended by Texas DPS, it was found that one driver died at the scene. The other two victims were rushed to Ascension Seton with conditions that remain uncertain, CBS Austin reports. Affected by the misfortune of the crash, a utility pole was also struck, leading to a loss of electrical power in portions of the Saddle Creek subdivision.
Police have meanwhile closed off the intersection where the accident took place to conduct their investigation, cautioning drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes. This closure contributes to the unfolding disruption posed by the crash, extending its impact beyond the immediate site.
