A shooting incident in Walker, Michigan has resulted in one individual being hospitalized following an altercation at a home, as per reports from local law enforcement. The Walker Police Department received a dispatch call at approximately 3:30 p.m. yesterday to the 900 block of Cassandra Court due to a reported shooting, as detailed by WOODTV.
While officers were heading to the scene, the Grand Rapids Police Department attended to a shooting victim present in a vehicle near Lake Michigan Drive and Maynard Avenue. The inflicted injuries are not deemed life-threatening, but the victim, whose identity including age, and gender has not been disclosed, was promptly taken to an area hospital for treatment, MLive reported.
Investigations revealed that the victim found in the vehicle was involved in the earlier altercation that escalated to a shooting at the Cassandra Court home.
