Ontario is swiftly morphing into a culinary and entertainment destination, with over two dozen new eateries set to open their doors to the delight of food enthusiasts and hungry locals. Recognizing the city's expanding palate, the latest restaurant fleet addresses the wide-ranging tastes of Ontario's increasing populace, showing a city embarking on an ambitious transformation that equally beckons travelers and investors.
Among the fresh eateries gracing the streets, a few have already launched, such as the Mule Car Smokehouse on North Euclid Avenue and Pugon Dessert on East Philadelphia Street, while others like Wine & Tale on Ontario Ranch Road and Graze Craze on East Fourth Street are revving up to serve tastes that range from savory barbecue to delicate pastries and international cuisine. Ontario's thriving gastronomic scene is expanding within its airport too, with Mi Casa Cantina and Tap & Pour setting up shop in Terminals 4 and 2, respectively, while Dandy's Pastry and Bubbas Burgerz, among others, are adding their flavors to various city locales, "Ontario's vibrant and diverse communities provide a great foundation for attracting a wide range of businesses," Jennifer McLain Hiramoto, the Executive Economic Development Director stated, as detailed by the City of Ontario.
The city hasn't just rolled out the welcome mat for varied palates, but also for the crisp clink of business growth with Ontario Economic Development Agency's incentivizing programs, which include a Downtown Storefront Facade Improvement Program and a Downtown Restaurant Equipment Program, the latter providing up to a $10,000 equipment loan, and the former matching facade improvements up to $25,000 for small businesses sprouting downtown. The Community Business Suggestion Form, another frontier of the city's inclusivity, invites local perspectives to sculpt a strategy for retail and dining excellence.
The upswing doesn't halt at dining. Ontario's entertainment front is burgeoning too, expanding around its 50 square miles of space, a resident count over 182,000, the Toyota Arena and Ontario Convention Center already established, prime for a boom are the ample hotels, a budding international airport, and an eagerly-awaited sports complex, which includes a cutting-edge professional baseball stadium.
