
The Orange County Sheriff's Office has issued an appeal to the public seeking information about the suspicious death of Monique Jade Brooks, a 49-year-old transgender woman, who was also known as Robert Ramon Thomas. Brooks was discovered unresponsive in the early hours of July 19th in the 8200 block of South Orange Blossom Trail and was later pronounced dead at a hospital, as reported by ClickOrlando.
In what has since been determined to be a fatal shooting, Brooks' case has caught the urgent attention of local authorities, who are now urging anyone with information to swiftly come forward. A reward of up to $5,000 has been announced for tips that are to lead directly to an arrest. This reward offer was detailed by WFTV.
