Passengers and personnel at Orlando International Airport (MCO) have something new to look forward to when navigating concourses and checking into terminals. Launched this Thursday, 'MCO Rewards' is a new program promising more than just an efficient travel experience—it offers tangible rewards for their patronage. From airline miles to gift cards and cash-back rewards, the perks of this program are accessible to anyone who shops, eats, or parks at the facility, as reported by FOX 35 Orlando.
The initiative is in partnership with GlidePathCX, extending its reach beyond MCO to over a hundred other airports in their network including Daytona Beach and Miami. In a statement detailed by FOX 35 Orlando, MCO CEO Kevin J. Thibault explains the potential reach of MCO Rewards, citing the "more than 57 million customers" who traversed the airport's halls in 2023. Offering such a program is GOAA's way of expressing gratitude, making the travel experience a whole more rewarding.
Not only does this initiative function as a token of appreciation, but it doubles as a means of gathering customer feedback, tailored to finesse the overall experience at MCO. GlidePathCX CEO Marc Ellis emphasized the benefits, "We are pleased to offer a robust and turnkey customer management platform that will improve the airport experience and provide GOAA with invaluable customer trends," as cited by WFTV.
Registration for MCO Rewards is free, and the program is active as of August 1. As frequent flyers and airport visitors seek to optimize every part of their journey, it seems that Orlando International is striving to ensure the airport grounds themselves form part of the rewarding travel experience. Those interested can sign up online directly from the MCO Rewards program page.
