It was reported that Sutherland then fled the scene and hid in a nearby marsh, but was later apprehended by Florida agriculture officers. A man in a construction truck and a woman driving a pickup truck also suffered minor injuries, ClickOrlando detailed.

Sutherland was arrested at his current place of employment along Sea Harbor Drive and, at the time of the latest reports, was being held without bond at the Orange County Jail. Young, the deceased victim, died at the scene of the crash while the other injured worker continues to recover from the serious injuries sustained during the incident.
