
An Orlando man perished in a vehicular tragedy in Lake County on Tuesday evening. The Florida Highway Patrol detailed that the fatal incident transpired near the intersection of County Road 46A and County Road 46, around 9:50 p.m., as reported by ClickOrlando.
The 47-year-old man, while driving south on County Road 46A, veered off the roadway, and in his attempt to reassert control of the vehicle it overturned multiple times and this occurrence has instigated an ongoing investigation by authorities. According to a scene reported by FOX 35 Orlando, the driver was ejected from his 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe following his losing control and overcorrecting after initially going off-road. The man was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Tragically, after being taken to a local hospital, the individual succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The Lake County crash is currently under the scrutiny of the Florida Highway Patrol as they work towards piecing together the moments that led up to the fatal rollover.
