
Earlier this morning, Pittsburgh's Strip District witnessed a traffic incident when a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 25th Street. According to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Blotter, the collision occurred around 8 a.m., triggering a swift response from local law enforcement and emergency services.
The events unfolded as an adult male, shortly after alighting from a Pittsburgh Regional Transit bus, attempted to cross the street and was struck. The driver of the bus made the initial call to report the incident, remained at the location, and is currently cooperating with police officers concerning the investigation.
Pittsburgh Emergency Medical Services responded promptly to the accident, ensuring the victim received immediate care. The injured pedestrian was quickly transported to a nearby hospital and is now in stable condition.
