Early Saturday morning, a fire erupted in a Pflugerville home's garage, destroying two vehicles and causing damage to the structure. According to CBS Austin, Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2, also known as the Pflugerville Fire Department, was quickly on the scene after reports of the blaze in the 16300 block of Copper Ellis. The teams worked swiftly to contain and eventually fully extinguish the fire, with the fortunate news that no injuries have been reported.
Per further details provided by FOX 7 Austin, the inferno had also spread to the garage floor, indicating a rapid spread that firefighters managed to control. Their efforts were key in preventing what could have easily turned into a more devastating scenario with the potential threat to nearby homes.
"Crews were able to extinguish the fire with no injuries and no extension to adjacent structures," as stated by the Pflugerville Fire Department.
