
The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public's help to locate a suspect connected to a residential burglary in the city's 14th District, as stated in an official police blotter post. According to the release, the incident occurred on August 22, 2024, at a residence on the 700 block of E. Phil Ellena St., where a home security system captured footage of an unidentified black male suspect entering the home and stealing several personal items. The owner discovered the crime when returned from work, but it was too late.
The suspect is described as a black male, likely in his 30s, with a beard and brown complexion; he was last seen wearing a purple t-shirt that bore the inscription “Quiet Storm” on the back, an image captured by the home's security system that was included in the police call to action.
Authorities have advised that if anyone spots the individual, they should not approach but instead immediately call 911.
