It's a beacon of progress when URA's Executive Director Susheela Nemani-Stanger reflects on the past year by highlighting the tangible impact of the Housing Opportunity Fund, stating, "I am incredibly proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish," as per the city's press release, bringing spotlight to the diversity of support, including crisis intervention that prevented displacement for 241 households, no-cost legal housing assistance granted to 803 renters and homeowners, and not overlooking the milestone of assisting 126 individuals in purchasing their inaugural homes.
