The support focuses on Public Assistance (Category B) emergency protective measures, promising a 75 percent match in federal funding for direct assistance and reimbursement for mass care, which decisively includes evacuation and shelter support. A roster of counties, including Alamance, Anson, and Carteret, right through to Wayne and Wilson, will receive this critical support, spotlighting the federal commitment to lessen or avert further catastrophe possibly.

An appointment has been made to ensure these operations run smoothly. Mr. Rodriqus L. McAllister of FEMA will spearhead the coordination of federal recovery efforts in the areas hit by the emergency.
