The Red Oak Police Department has extended an invite to the community for its annual “Red Oak Night Out Against Crime,” slated for October 1. From 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, the Red Oak Government Center will become a hub for residents eager to strengthen neighborhood ties and foster positive police-community relationships.
Families can look forward to an evening where children will get the chance to explore emergency vehicles up close and everyone can enjoy complimentary refreshments. The event promises to also be sprinkled with opportunities to win prizes and snag giveaways.
Amidst fun and festivities, the event's deeper purpose is to reinforce the fabric of community within Red Oak, allowing residents to connect not only with members of the police department but also with one another. According to the Red Oak Police Department, "This event is all about strengthening the relationships between citizens and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community."
