Early this morning, a mobile home on San Antonio's southeast side became the scene of an urgent fire incident. San Antonio fire crews were dispatched to the 13100 block of Somerset Road around 3 a.m. upon reports of a structure fire. KENS 5 reports that firefighters arrived to find the home rapidly being consumed by flames.
Efforts by the fire teams quickly subdued the flames, preventing the home from being completely destroyed. Firefighters, who arrived shortly after the fire was reported, found that all occupants had already safely evacuated. Wrapped quickly in the blazes, officials told FOX San Antonio, "all occupants safely evacuated the home before fire crews arrived." No physical harm came to the residents as firefighters tackled the inferno.
Despite the early hour, the incident drew the attention of neighbors and passersby, with the fire brigade's rapid response being a stroke of subdued spectacle amid the quiet of the predawn blocks. As of now, the official cause of the fire remains unknown, as fire officials assert that the investigation is still in progress.
