The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking the public's assistance in locating 77-year-old Anthony Cahill, who has been reported as an at-risk missing person due to his dementia. Cahill is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 235 pounds, with brown/gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in the vicinity of Florin Road and South Land Park Drive on the afternoon of August 28, around 3 p.m, as reported by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, Cahill was driving a 2010 cream Toyota Sequoia, with the California license plate number 8GRV338. The vehicle is noted for it's tinted windows, stock wheels, and the presence of three Veteran stickers placed along the bottom of the rear windows. When last seen, he was wearing a white t-shirt, tan khaki pants, and black sandals.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Cahill's whereabouts to come forward and contact the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office at 916-874-5115. The urgency to locate Mr. Cahill grows as time passes, given his medical condition which may render him particularly vulnerable.
