Saint Paul's own Suni Lee has etched her name into the hearts of her hometown and the history books, simultaneously. Securing gold and bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Lee's achievements are being celebrated by Saint Paul Parks and Recreation. Local youths from the Rec Check program have poured their admiration into drawings and letters, according to the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation.

The Saint Paul community has also been encouraged to visit the Suni Lee sculpture at Phalen Regional Park. There, admirers of Lee's Olympic journey can add their own letters of support. "We invite you to come visit the Suni Lee sculpture at Phalen Regional Park and add your own letter to help cheer Suni on through her remaining events at the 2024 Paris Olympics" the Parks and Recreation Department shared on social media platforms.
