
The San Antonio Police Department has issued a call for assistance in locating 15-year-old Yvette "Bella" Sanchez, who was last seen yesterday, August 26. According to KENS 5, the teen was last spotted on the 1600 block of Possum Path on the city's northeast side.
Described as being 5'1" tall and weighing about 90 pounds, Sanchez has brown eyes and black hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white t-shirt, a black hoodie, blue jeans, and was carrying a gray backpack. Authorities are concerned and are working to identify any leads swiftly. SAPD also wants to remind the public that to knowingly harbor a runaway child is to commit a criminal offense, as per their statement.
There is a growing concern for Yvette's whereabouts and safety. Harboring a runaway child, particularly one who is under 18 or has escaped from the custody of an official or facility, is a Class A misdemeanor in Texas. This is punishable by a fine that may reach up to $4,000 and/or jail time for up to a year.
