Transitioning to the weekend promises no reprieve from the sun-drenched skies. Friday's forecast predicts a high near 100 degrees, while Saturday and Sunday both flirt with high temperatures of 98 degrees.
Next Tuesday may bring a brief break from the heat with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the forecast.
