San Antonio Police Department is on the hunt for two suspects after a sale-turned-robbery left a teenager with a gunshot wound late Monday night. The incident, which took place on the 1000 block of Frank Avenue, near the peripheries of Fort Sam Houston, unfolded under the veil of night around 10:15 p.m., confirmed by the authorities.

According to KENS 5, the 19-year-old victim, who had intentions to sell some jewelry, was picked up by two men. One of the men was reportedly a known acquaintance of the victim. The teen was "accidentally" shot in the leg by his one-time acquaintances. Following the incident, the victim was left on the corner as the suspects drove away.

This narrative, albeit slightly divergent in age, aligns with the findings from a report by KSAT, where it was stated that the victim was 17 years old. Post the violent encounter, the injured party was transported by ambulance to an area hospital, with the expectation of recovery.

SAPD, SA Fire Department, and EMS were promptly on scene in the aftermath of the gunfire.
