
A violent confrontation outside a San Antonio bar culminated in an act of family defense when a woman fired at suspects assaulting her brother with a baseball bat, as per the San Antonio Police Department. The initial clash, resulting in several family members being ejected from the establishment, unfolded just before 2 a.m. yesterday in the South Side's 4800 block of South Flores Street, with the aftermath developing shortly thereafter in the quiet of the 9800 block of Collin Grove, as KSAT reported.
After the bar dispute transitioned to the streets, an unknown number of individuals tracking the victim and his relatives arrived at the secondary location where the situation escalated, witnesses and the victim's sister, got out of their vehicles and she, in a fraught response to her brother's beating, discharged her firearm at these suspects prompt them to flee the location authorities explained, while responding officers later found the male victim battered and in need of hospital care, though the status on any arrests or gunshot victims remains unclear with the incident under ongoing investigation; according to Ridgemeadowsmaternity.
SAPD has yet to publicize if the sister's defensive gunshots hit any of the aggressors as the situation unfolded. The victim, still unnamed, was promptly tended to by emergency services and taken to receive medical attention for the injuries incurred during the harrowing encounter.
