
The search intensifies for Lea Marie Lankford, a 37-year-old woman from Alabama, who has been reported missing in Orlando, as law enforcement officials appeal to the public for any leads. Lankford, last seen in the vicinity of a resort on Universal Boulevard on August 8 and 9, failed to return to her job following a scheduled vacation, sparking concern from her family and authorities, as reported by FOX 35 Orlando.
According to a report by ClickOrlando, Lankford was reported missing by her family on Monday, Aug. 12, after she did not come back from the Southside area in Alabama, where she resides. The Southside Police Department stated, that Lankford was seen alone at the resort before her disappearance. She was driving her gray Nissan Altima, with an Alabama license plate numbered 31ACB5B.
Chief of Police of the Southside Police Department, Jarrett L. Williams, indicated that Lankford was believed to be traveling alone. In a statement detailed by FOX 35 Orlando, Williams shared, "At this time, we believe she was traveling alone."
Described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighing 110 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes, Lankford's sudden disappearance has prompted calls for anyone with information to come forward.
