Last seen between 9 and 10 a.m. at a mining camp near the convergence of the middle fork of the Yuba River and Sweetland Creek, Pineda is classified as at-risk. The search for her continues as law enforcement collaborates with the Nevada County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, as reported by FOX40.
Described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 169 pounds, she has brown hair and hazel eyes. She was reported to be wearing "a black sweatshirt, floral leggings, tennis shoes and a black Swiss backpack," as FOX40 details. The sheriff's office notes that she might be attempting to travel back to the Sacramento area.
