Seattle's infamous overcast skies are making their presence known this week. An overcast morning will give way to mostly sunny skies with a high near a comfortable 70 degrees. South winds are keeping things mild, blowing lightly at 3 to 7 mph, according to the latest forecasts from the National Weather Service.
As the sun sets over the Emerald City, clouds will persist, insisting on a mostly cloudy night with temperatures hovering around the 60-degree mark. The calm, barely noticeable wind promises a stillness in the air, setting the stage for tonight.
The midweek outlook isn't looking too shabby either, with Wednesday promising more cloud coverage through the morning before making way for clearer skies and a slightly warmer high near 75 degrees. "Mostly clear" is the theme for Wednesday night, coupled with a low around 58 and a light north northwest wind, as reported by NWS Seattle WA.
Looking ahead to the weekend, there's a change coming Saturday with a chance of rain making an appearance after 11 a.m. The high is expected to be near 71 degrees, with clouds breaking up throughout the day. There's a chance of rain carrying through to Sunday.
