St. Paul Parks and Recreation announced an unexpected closure of the kid-friendly aquatic areas due to maintenance needs that couldn't wait. The Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, stated, "Due to unforeseen maintenance needs, the kids pool and splash area are currently closed." This sudden shutdown has come at the peak of the summer season, leaving families to seek alternative ways to beat the heat.
While repairs are underway, the concessions stand also seems to be feeling the heat, as it's currently serving up a limited menu. This double whammy has led to a bit of a summer bummer for park-goers hoping to fully indulge in the leisurely poolside experience. "We are working to solve the issue and will update when we have more information," as noted by the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation.
The park is, however, not off-limits to water enthusiasts looking to dive into some fun. According to the Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, "the rest of our pool amenities are open and ready for use on these beautiful days!"
