Two years after a fatal stabbing rocked a Northeast DC community, an arrest has been made. The Metropolitan Police Department disclosed the apprehension of a suspect linked to the July 2022 homicide of Brittany Palmer, according to a news release.
Palmer, then 23 years old and of no fixed address, succumbed to her injuries after a violent altercation inside a New York Avenue establishment. Investigations have led to 33-year-old Domonic Tabron of Capitol Heights, MD, who was arrested by the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, as confirmed by the police. The incident, happening in the early hours of July 9, 2022, saw police dispatched to an area hospital.
Upon their arrival, they encountered an adult female victim with stab wounds, now recognized as Palmer, whose life had slipped away, prompting her transport to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Tabron now faces charges of Second Degree Murder while Armed, in pursuit of a DC Superior Court bench warrant issued for his arrest.
