
Authorities in Plymouth, Massachusetts, have initiated a homicide investigation following the death of a man who appeared to be a victim of a stabbing. The Plymouth Police Department has identified a person of interest in the case as 26-year-old Matthew Paluzzi. In a recent update, the Hanover Police Department located Paluzzi and he is being held while authorities wait to secure a search warrant. According to police reports, he was last seen donning a grey North Face hooded sweatshirt and may be in a black 2017 Nissan Murano Platinum Edition with Massachusetts plates 8MZF30.
Police officials have issued a stern warning to the public, advising anyone who spots Paluzzi or the vehicle should avoid direct contact, considering the possibility that he may be armed, and instead, immediately dial 911. This appeal for assistance was circulated through a detailed Facebook post complete with an image of Paluzzi, providing the community with identifiable features including his stature at 5’8” and his notable brown, shoulder-length hair along with a full beard.
The Plymouth Police Headquarters is now tasked with the somber duty of interrogation and inquisition. As the case develops, authorities are working to uncover the events that led to this tragedy, but details remain limited.
