The Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Columbus Police Exploited Children Unit conducted an operation culminating in executing a search warrant at a residence in the 800 Block of Oakland Park Avenue, according to a media release by the Columbus Police Department.
During the action that took place yesterday, officials arrested Mr. Berry, who was found to allegedly have a collection of videos and images showcasing the sexual abuse of young children. The unearthed evidence swiftly led to Berry's apprehension without incident. This is not Mr. Berry's first brush with the law, as he had previously been convicted for an offense involving the pander of sexually oriented material that involved a minor back in 2014, which subsequently required him to register as a sexual offender.
