In a bid to foster closer ties between law enforcement and local communities in Tarrant County, the Sheriff's Department is launching an outreach initiative in partnership with One CommunityUSA's Shop Talk program. The collaboration will kick off with deputies making their rounds to barber and beauty salons in Fort Worth, before branching out into nearby Arlington and Euless.
The Shop Talk program has gained recognition for its role in strengthening community relations and providing a platform for open dialogue. According to the Tarrant County Sheriff's Department, Sheriff Waybourn expressed his enthusiasm about the program's potential. "Sheriff Waybourn was highly impressed with Shop Talk and its potential for community relations building for his deputies," the post read.
This sentiment was shared by members of the Sheriff's Department. Sergeant Salone, pictured alongside One CommunityUSA Director Brad Deason after a recent meeting, is slated to be among the deputies participating in program activities. The image, shared on social media, captures a moment of union between law enforcement and One CommunityUSA, an organization dedicated to forging community partnerships.
