
A shocking daylight shooting occurred yesterday afternoon in Honolulu, resulting in a teenage boy being hit by gunfire while on a public bus. The incident took place near the intersection of School St. and Kamehameha IV Road, just after half past three, according to the Honolulu Police Department. Police reported that the suspects, two males, were riding a moped when one of them opened fire on the bus.
Following the attack, the area was quickly cordoned off as investigators began to scour the scene for evidence, while the condition, of the victim has not been publicly disclosed as of yet. The Honolulu Police Department has initiated an attempted murder investigation. Onlookers and bus passengers were left distressed, with some providing initial statements to police at the scene. Investigators ask that anyone with information regarding the incident come forward to assist in identifying and apprehending the suspects.
