The streets of Southeast Baltimore were disrupted Friday afternoon following a dramatic crash that resulted in the arrest of three individuals, including two juveniles. According to FOX Baltimore, a police chase culminated with a car, wanted in connection with a carjacking, slamming into an intersection and subsequently being engulfed in flames.
After the crash at the corner of South Ellwood and East Baltimore, the suspects attempted to escape on foot but were swiftly apprehended by law enforcement officials. The suspects, two of them under the age of 18, and one an adult, faced immediate arrest. Multiple firearms were found within the wreckage, and while the immediate aftermath of the crash was alarming, the incident fortunately resulted in no reported injuries, as the Baltimore Police conveyed.
On this incident's details, WMAR 2 News has identified the arrested individuals as one man, 18, and two juvenile males, 16 and 17. After police extinguished the fire that erupted post-collision, three handguns were recovered from the vehicle, the Baltimore Police mentioned.
