Tragedy struck in west Phoenix on a Friday afternoon when a violent collision at the intersection of 39th Avenue and Monte Vista Road sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries. According to ABC15, the crash occurred just north of McDowell Road, around 2 p.m. and involved two vehicles.
Upon their arrival to the scene, Phoenix fire officials discovered two women and a young girl who had sustained injuries due to the impact. One woman, along with the child, were reported to be in critical condition when they were rushed to the hospital, and the other woman was in stable condition, this, according to AZFamily. Firefighters worked swiftly to assess the situation and provide the necessary assistance to the wounded.
The Phoenix Police Department has taken the helm of the investigation, endeavoring to unravel the circumstances that led up to the devastating crash.
