
A collision involving two motorcycles and an SUV in North Versailles resulted in injuries to three individuals on Saturday night. The incident, which took place near 1120 Lincoln Highway (Route 30) at approximately 9 p.m., disrupted traffic flow for a stretch of the highway, leading to a temporary closure of Route 30 between Park Avenue and Broad Street, as reported by WPXI.
Authorities have disclosed that a woman, one of the motorcyclists, was critically injured in the crash. She was transported to a hospital in grave condition. The male motorcyclist, however, only suffered injuries deemed stable by first responders. Additionally, the driver of the SUV involved incurred minor injuries and was also taken to a hospital, according to WPXI.
Investigation into the specifics of the incident is currently underway by Allegheny County Police detectives, as detailed by CBS Pittsburgh. Preliminary findings suggest that the motorcycles collided with the SUV as it was exiting a parking lot. The SUV was deployed upon impact, signifying the force of the crash.
