The Tbaal Riverfront Jazz Festival is set to be one of Dallas’ biggest music events this year, with a roster of thirty-five major acts performing live over Labor Day Weekend. The festival will be hosted at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas from August 30 to September 1, as confirmed by the City of Dallas. Headlining the opening night, 5x Grammy award-winning artist Ceelo Green is slated to perform “Jammin’ New Orleans Style” alongside the Dallas Second Line Jazz Band.

The lineup boasts a broad range of performers, from The String Queens to Fantastic Negrito, and includes jazz veteran Jeffrey Osborne and R&B crooner Ginuwine. According to Tbaal Riverfront Jazz Festival's press release, the event will also feature several acts in partnership with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, such as FOUR BROTHERS ON BASS and guest conductor John Mclaughlin accompanying Ruben Studdard. Twenty Dallas-based artists will pay tribute to iconic jazz singers, while twenty-seven young performers will take the Dallas Mavericks Promising Young Artists Stage.

Curtis King, the festival creator, and producer expressed his excitement about the event, saying, “We’re excited to present to festival goers some of the greatest music artists on today’s scene”. King points out the festival's unique attraction, revealing the blend of emerging talent with the legendary for an accessible price, as per the City of Dallas.
