
A devastating car accident claimed the lives of two Mississippi teens and left another critically injured on Interstate 269 in DeSoto County late Sunday night. Law enforcement officials relayed multiple reports.

The vehicle, losing its battle with stability, tumbled in violent succession barrels itself off the road it then rested, irreparably twisted wreckage with its tragic toll laid bare; this misfortune occurred just after 11 p.m., according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol's response to the emergency.
In the aftermath of the crash, 17-year-old passenger Brandon S. Munoz was pronounced dead at the scene. At the same time, 18-year-old Santiago Giron-Rico succumbed to fatal injuries after being transported to a local hospital. Confirmation of their deaths was reported by Action News 5.
The young driver, also severely injured in the rollover, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
