Two men were arrested late Monday night during a traffic stop in Pasadena after they were found in a vehicle displaying a license plate that didn't match, as reported by the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The vehicle in question, a Ford F-150, caught the attention of an officer at about 9:55 pm in the area of Ft. Smallwood Road and Cloverhill Road due to its incongruent license plate which actually belonged to a Dodge Ram.
Upon further investigation, the police unearthed not only a discrepancy in vehicle identification but also a Ruger P95 handgun and several substances suspected to be heroin/fentanyl and methadone. Displaying inconsistency within the truck, this discovery led to the arrest of both occupants, according to a police press release.
The individuals taken into custody have been identified as James Lee Johnson, 40, and Brian Keith Larrimore, 38, both hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. Details regarding the specific charges brought against them have yet to be disclosed, but the presence of an illegal firearm and drugs indicates the likelihood of multiple felony charges.
