Early this morning, a shooting near a bar in Colerain Township resulted in at least two individuals being hospitalized, as confirmed by the Colerain Township police. According to a statement obtained by  FOX19, the incident occurred near the 629 Bar, located at 9406 Pippin Road. Police spokesperson Helen Tracey-Noren noted that one victim was transported in a private vehicle to Mercy West Hospital.

Further reporting by WLWT mentioned that the authorities were called around 2:30 a.m. in response to the shooting. Officials disclosed that one of the victims was a man taken to UC Medical Center, and the other, a female, was transported to Mercy Health West. At this time, no updates regarding their conditions or potential suspect information have been released. Dispatch recordings indicate that the officers arrived shortly after the calls were received.

Responding to the scene, police found multiple bullet casings on the premises, a detail corroborated by Local12 coverage of the event. Although there were initial reports of one injured party, it was later clarified that at least two individuals were involved. The exact nature of the injuries has not been disclosed, but an investigation is ongoing to determine the events leading to the shooting.

Local residents reported a chaotic scene, with many expressing shock at the violence in their neighborhood. Despite the early hours of the incident, the repercussions of such events ripple through the community, fueling concerns over public safety. "Then officers started getting calls from three hospitals with three different victims," said Jim Love, mentioned by FOX19.  Another spokesperson for Colerain police underscored the confusion and subsequent multi-location investigation efforts. The Colerain Township police have not yet commented on possible motives or suspects involved in the shooting.
