Bastrop County reels from the July murder of a 42-year-old man, with recent arrests bringing some progression in the case. The Bastrop Police Department confirmed that on July 25, around 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to a troubling scene on the 300 block of SH 71 West. Subsequent investigations have now led to apprehending two suspects. Fifty-three-year-old Keith Pennington stands accused of Yarbrough's murder. Nicholas Ray, 37, was also arrested, allegedly for attempting to slightly tamper with evidence related to the case, as per FOX 7 Austin.
