Two suspects who bolted from a major crash scene have been apprehended, officials reported this week. The incident took place on August 10, on Kuykendahl Road, sparking a response from deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office, based on a recent Facebook post by Herman's office.
Both the driver, identified as Juan Guerrero-Garcia and the passenger Gerardo Bravo, exited their vehicle after the crash and attempted to escape on foot. However, their freedom was fleeting, as deputies canvassed the local terrain and managed to locate, and detain both individuals shortly after.
"They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Fail to Stop and Render Aid. Juan Guerrero-Garcia's bond was set at $10,000.00 out of the 488th District Court. Gerardo Bravo's bond has not been set at this time," a statement from Constable Mark Herman posted on the Facebook page read. More information about the crash or any potential injuries reported was not immediately provided by the authorities.
