
Yesterday afternoon, a startling incident occurred when three women, including one who was pregnant, were shot while inside a vehicle near a North Side apartment complex as they exited onto Patricia Drive and Parliament Street. Two of the victims are currently recovering in the hospital.
According to FOX San Antonio, police arrived at the scene around 5:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire that struck the pregnant woman in the finger and another woman in the leg. The women were able to flee the shooting and sought help near I-10 and Wurzbach, where police and emergency medical services subsequently responded.
The vehicle, confirmed by KSAT to be a silver Nissan sedan, was spotted with multiple bullet holes as the scene was later examined by the San Antonio Police Department, while the two women received hospital treatment for their non-life-threatening injuries, the third woman in the vehicle was unharmed the car riddled with bullet holes was a testament to the violence that had occurred.
Authorities have reported that three male suspects are believed to be involved in the shooting, but at the time of this update, they remain at large, with no further details released about their identities.
