Tragedy struck at Club Lux in Uniontown early Saturday morning when a man lost his life in a gunfire incident. The Uniontown City Police Department reported that the shooting occurred just before 5 a.m. on Morgantown Street, turning a night of revelry into a scene of a fatal encounter. According to WPXI, the victim was shot multiple times in what was described as "vital areas of his body."
Authorities identified the deceased as 24-year-old Timothy Brooks, a resident of Uniontown. Lt. Tom Kolencik stated that no arrests have been made thus far, and as of yet, no suspects have been identified. The Fayette County Coroner ruled the death a homicide following an examination that revealed multiple gunshot wounds.

At the time of the shooting, the club was crowded, possibly leaving many witnesses to the crime. Club Lux's owner is cooperating with the police as they continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding Brooks's untimely demise.
Uniontown police are urging anyone with information to come forward. They are appealed to contact the Uniontown City Police Department or Crimestoppers of Fayette County to assist in the ongoing investigation.
