Early in the morning on Wednesday, the University of North Texas Police Department received a report of a sexual assault that took place inside Bruce Hall. According to the University of North Texas Police Department, the survivor, after meeting the suspect recently and engaging in alcohol consumption within a dorm room, disclosed to the police that the suspect sexually assaulted her upon becoming intoxicated.
In the account given to authorities, it was mentioned by the victim that while she had become inebriated, at that moment, the suspect initiated the assault. The suspect, a female, is known by identity, and the police are actively pursuing the case.
