Hikers, bikers, and outdoor enthusiasts take note: a stretch of the Dakota Rail Regional Trail will be under the knife, so to speak, for a spot of much-needed tree trimming. Between August 19 and 21, according to a Facebook post by the Carver County Parks Department, crews will be out there trimming trees along the Dakota Rail Regional Trail.
"Sections of the trail between Mayer and the eastern Carver County boarder may be closed during this work," the announcement states, reminding us that sometimes, a little interruption can lead to greater ease of passage down the road.
"Thank you for your patience while we complete this task!" echoes the sentiment from the Parks Department.
