The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is urgently requesting the public's assistance in locating Raymond "Ray" Puppolo, an at-risk missing senior citizen. Puppolo was last seen at approximately 10 AM on August 16 near his home on Old Placerville Road and Granby Road in Rancho Cordova. He is 77 years old, stands at 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighs 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes, as mentioned by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office post on their Facebook page, Mr. Puppolo was last seen wearing a hat, a gray zip up hoodie, and dark colored sweatpants. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, which is a contributing factor to why authorities have deemed him to be at risk. Despite the delay in reporting his disappearance until the evening of August 16, efforts are intensifying to swiftly bring him to safety.
The concern for Mr. Puppolo's well-being is especially heightened due to his medical condition, which could impede his ability to safely navigate or seek assistance. His family and law enforcement are appealing to people in and around the Rancho Cordova area to report any sightings or information that might help to locate him. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has asked that the public remain vigilant and report any potential leads immediately.
Anyone who has seen Ray Puppolo or has information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to directly contact the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. People can assist by calling 916-874-5115 to share any details that might support the ongoing search.
