In just a few days, local law enforcement has logged a series of thefts that includes a truck, multiple golf carts, and a four-wheeler, according to a recent Facebook post by the Wabasha Police Department. One stolen vehicle has been fortunate enough to find its way back home.

In light of these thefts, authorities are urging residents to take precautions, "Keeping your vehicle locked and not leaving keys in the ignition will greatly help reduce the risk of it being taken," they advise, as stated by the Wabasha Police Department. The police urge vigilance and prompt reporting of any suspicious activity spotted by community members, to help deter the further loss of residents' property.
