A man wanted for serious crimes, including attempted murder and kidnapping, was arrested in Harris County, in an operation involving multiple law enforcement agencies. Officials from Constable Mark Herman's Office and the Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force tracked down and apprehended Jerrell Andrews Jr. on the 13100 block of Jones Road, a collaboration detailed by Constable Mark Herman's Facebook post.
The team, supported by Deputy Montalvo, Deputy Sams, and their K9 companion "Rambo Tom Ramsey," confirmed the active Out of State Felony Warrants for Andrews. According to an announcement on social media by Constable Mark Herman, "Jerrell Andrews Jr., was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, for the active felony warrants and is awaiting extradition."
Details about the case remain scant. The incident took place yesterday, but no mention was made of either resistance during the arrest or harm to any of the officials involved, including the four-legged officer.
