The Washington State Patrol is on the lookout for information following a hit-and-run collision that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries. This incident occurred on August 17, along state Route 542, close to Uphill Dr, as detailed in a public report released by the Washington State Patrol.
According to the Washington State Patrol, at about 3:52 p.m., an unidentified vehicle, which was headed eastbound on Route 542, veered into the opposite lane near milepost 24, impacting an orange 2024 Harley-Davidson motorcycle that was traveling westbound. The force of the collision caused the motorcycle to skid to a halt on the eastbound shoulder, while the vehicle responsible fled the scene, continuing to move eastward on the route.
As the pursuit to identify the vehicle in the hit-and-run continues, Washington State Patrol's detectives are seeking a 2015-2021 white Nissan Murano. They believe it bears damages near the front wheel on the passenger side and may also have a compromised passenger side mirror.
