The Waxahachie Police Department congratulated one of its own, Apple Capulong, for completing the North Central Texas (NCT) 9-1-1 Telecommunicators Academy with remarkable accolades. Capulong achieved a near-perfect 98.8 grade point average, marking a high standard for peers.
Capulong's academic excellence was not the only highlight of their tenure at the academy. They also set a new record for the number of 9-1-1 calls reviewed. An impressive 139 calls were completed, a number that underscores the diligence and expertise Capulong has brought to the program. As indicated in the department's post, Assistant Chief Marcus Brown and Telecommunications Supervisor Lindsey Sims flanked Capulong in recognition of the achievement, alongside Chief Joe Wiser, according to the Waxahachie Police Department.
