Starting at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow and stretching until 9:00 p.m. the following Sunday, the closure will seal off West Lake Road's segment between Jamison Park Drive and Langston Circle, pressing pause on through traffic solely for asphalt paving that's a part of a grander narrative of infrastructure bolstering. Although local access remains untouched, travelers are nudged to dodge the area altogether or to acquiesce to the detours etched out by posted signs.
Detailed detour itineraries are laid out for drivers to approach West Lake Road's northern side, one must steer east on Optimist Farm Road, hang a left onto Bells Lake Road, find another left onto Ten Ten Road, and finally, a left brings you back to West Lake Road. Southward-bound drivers will similarly zigzag, pivoting east on Ten Ten Road, veering right onto Bells Lake Road, slipping right onto Optimist Farm Road, and finally a sharp right hooks you back onto West Lake Road.
